The first six hours of the 24h race in Spa are history. It’s time for a first recap. At 22:30 the team from Neumarkt is on position 42 with its four drivers. This is the fourth place in the AM-cup.
Right on time at 16:30 the spectacle in Belgium began. Christopher Zanella did the first stint in the Lamborghini Huracán GT3 and started from P51 (second in his class). Already within the first hour he was able to improve by three positions and left the car to Mike Stursberg on P48. The experienced driver did the second stint of the race and kept on pushing forward. HB Racing had one drive through penalty, but caught up to their pace again right after.
With 18 hours to go, Christopher Zanella, who is competing in his first 24h race, is on the 42nd position. This is the fourth place in the AM-cup.
You can find live updates regularly on Instagram and Facebook. The team still has three fourth of the race in front of them but already wants to take the opportunity and thank the entire crew for their great work!
