Christopher Zanella debuts in a Lamborghini Huracán GT3 with HB Racing this season. Before, the driver from Switzerland already celebrated success stories in Formula 2. He looks at his future in the GT sport very positively because the declared goal is to make a name for himself.
The Austrian Team counts on the young talent, Christopher Zanella, for this year’s ADAC GT Masters lineup. He was infected with the racing fever once he won his first two kart races and when his father bought him his own race kart. Ever since then, the driver of the start number six only wants to do one thing: pushing the gas pedal! “I enjoy the moment when I sit in the car and go to the absolute limit, when I touch the wall with my side mirror when exiting a corner and that’s something I’d like to do in every lap. It’s the ultimate feeling I wouldn’t want to miss”, he explains about his passion.
Christopher also likes to think back to his career in Formula 3 as well as his success as FIA-Formula 2-Vice Champion in 2011. “The GT Masters has a lot of great drivers and a very high level of performance. We are a young team that has to learn a couple of lessons to be able to compete in the front of the field”, he says about the challenge. “My goal is to be respected as a driver and to score points.”
